It’s not ‘inattention’… it’s preoccupation

How You Experience the World

In short: You feel, think and care deeply - and that matters.

You experience the world vividly - through feelings, thought, pattern or details.
You may have been told you’re too intense, too sensitive, too analytical or too much,
but depth isn’t a flaw.
It’s a way of perceiving - with nuance, imagination, and honesty.

Not everyone experiences the world like this.
But you do.
And that matters.

Depth is not something we have to navigate alone.

I’m someone who has lived this way too - thinking and feeling in layers, sensing meaning and undertones, moving between imagination, analysis, and intuition.

Understanding my own neurodivergence has clarified a great deal - it gave language to patterns that were always there, and helped me move with more coherence and less pressure to conform.

I don’t come with a method to apply to you because each of my clients is unique.

I come to meet you.

To listen with precision.

To reflect the shape of your inner landscape - and how it fits with your world.

My background spans coaching, contemplative practice, creative work, and supporting people who live at the edges of thought and feeling - founders, artists, academics, change-makers, and those who carry responsibility with care.

Alongside this, my work also includes projects exploring how people stay grounded, purposeful and resilient amid large-scale change and systemic uncertainty.

I offer a space where your way of being is understood - without needing to be explained or justified.

A place where complexity is welcome.

Where intensity isn’t treated as instability.

Where sensitivity is appreciated.

Where your inner experience is not only heard, but reflected back with precision.

This is not coaching to fix you.

It is coaching to help you act from what is real in you.

This work helps you hold your depth while moving forward in your life and work.

Not by pushing harder.

Not by ‘fixing’ or masking yourself.

Not by reducing your sensitivity.

But by developing an inner steadiness that allows you to act, create, and choose from clarity.

For many people I work with, it might typically be some of the following (but your needs will be unique to you)

  • Feeling less overwhelmed

  • Owning, appreciating and exercising your gifts

  • Staying connected to what really matters

  • Making decisions from a grounded place rather than urgency or doubt

  • Meaningful work, business or creativity without burning out

  • Leading with presence rather than self-protection

  • Staying connected to yourself while connecting with others in ways that work for you and them

  • Asking for support from a position of worth, not shame

  • Greater ease at cycling through moods

  • Completing or handing over with grace and satisfaction

  • Attending to the ‘must do’, ‘ought to do’ and ‘want to do’ tasks with balance and timeliness

What working together can feel like

Here are a few reflections from people I’ve worked with.

His questions take you exactly where you need to go.

He has a gift for taking what feels tangled, overwhelming or contradictory and showing the meaningful pattern underneath.

I felt truly heard, deeply met, and safely held. It made it possible to go to places I’d avoided for years - without overwhelm

Matthew sees the whole of you. He listens with his entire presence. I felt truly seen, understood, and met in a way I didn’t know was possible.

I am more myself - and that has changed everything.

Working with Matthew helped me make sense of things I had been circling for years. My inner world finally felt coherent.

The solutions become obvious - they don’t need to be forced or tracked. They simply become the natural way to move forward.

I left every session clearer, steadier, and more able to move forward. I felt heard, met, and safely held. It was possible to go to places I’ve avoided for years without overwhelm.
